Opportunity Details

PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMPACT

Our organization empowers women's artisan cooperatives, providing skills-building workshops and access to the market through our Fair Trade Store in town, thereby allowing women to earn a reliable income. Our Sustainable Tourism Program works to connect women, families and the rural poor with the economic opportunities that tourism brings.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate and has experience in designing a small merchandise store or boutique layout, sales, and/or general design etc. The goal of this opportunity is to improve and transform the layout of our local fair trade store in Ollanta where artisan products made by the cooperatives are sold to increase sales, better communicate the story behind the product, and create a creative and appealing layout to involve potential customers. The work will involve working on both physical layout and changes as well as new creative ideas.
