We are a UK-registered charity which works with partner organizations in Peru to help disadvantaged children and young people to build a better future. We accomplish this by supporting marginalized young people with access to educational opportunities and vocational training, as well as support for their own entrepreneurial ventures through income-generation, cost reduction initiatives and capacity building for staff.
We are seeking an Experteer to coordinate the process of structuring LAFF’s new Strategic Plan for the next three years. The Strategic Planning Coordinator will be responsible for leading the ideation and writing phase of the Strategic Plan. Additionally, the selected candidate will also be responsible for leading group workshops and individual sessions with LAFF’s stakeholders in the structuring process to ensure continuity after the project is completed.
Support LAFF's Programme Manager and Board with the ideation and building of LAFF's new 3-year strategic plan.
Support LAFF's Programme Manager and Board with evaluating LAFFs previous strategic plan.
Coordinate different group/individual sessions about strategic planning amongst LAFF’s stakeholders.
Provide administrative and logistical support to the team.
Our ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:
Academic qualifications and/or professional experience in strategic planning, strategic management and administration of organizations, ideally charitable and voluntary organizations
Is an enthusiast for strategy and strategic planning (envisioning an organization's future and marking the steps towards achieving strategic goals).
A quick and motivated learner.
Time Commitment: Minimum of 4 months, to begin August or September of 2018.
Advanced spoken and written English
In addition to the requirements above, our ideal candidate would meet the following requirements (desirable, but not required)"
Experience working with programmes in education and/or childhood development.
Previous work or volunteer experience in Cusco.
Experience in impact evaluation.
Spanish language proficiency
